Tom's Milling

I haven't had a chance to buid a full kiln but I wanted to dry a stack of wood for another 8'x6' animal house. Real quickly, I just used some sawhorses with boards across them to hold an opague plactic. Clear would probably work better and I will try it when I get some. Originally, I just set the plastic over the sawhorses but it dipped down and the condensation fell right back on the wood. I added the blocks to the center and it was enough to keep the plastic off the wood. I then put some black packing wrap under the plastic to provide extra heat and a fan to help blow the air through the stack of wood. I uncover it at night to let it air out.
